Among these updates, creators will now be able to use AI-generated questions for their live Q&A sessions, relieving them of the pressure to come up with prompts themselves. This new function allows YouTube to suggest potential inquiries that can enhance audience interaction during broadcasts.

    The AI-powered Q&A sticker aims to streamline creator engagement, offering them a tool that facilitates audience interaction while allowing for customization of the final question and appearance of the sticker. YouTube has confirmed that this innovative feature is currently available in English for users streaming via mobile apps.

    In addition, the Communities feature, previously exclusive to mobile, is expanding to desktop platforms. This update enables both creators and viewers to access and engage with community content across desktops, enhancing communication within channels through this new text-based discussion forum, a tool that has seen growth throughout the year.

    YouTube is also implementing a new time management feature for its Shorts, allowing users to set daily limits on how long they spend scrolling through the feed. When users reach their designated time limit, they will receive a notification reminding them of their chosen restriction, offering an option to dismiss the reminder or continue scrolling. While this may provide an opportunity for self-regulation, users retain the power to ignore the prompt and carry on as usual.
