Adobe Unlocks Unlimited AI Image and Video Generation in Firefly

Adobe has expanded access to its artificial intelligence platform, Firefly, allowing subscribers to generate unlimited images and videos as part of their creative workflows. The update integrates leading AI models such as Google’s Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image Generation and Runway Gen-4 Image, alongside Adobe’s own commercially safe Firefly models for images and videos.

The change aims to support creators in exploring ideas without restrictions, reflecting how AI has become integral to contemporary look. According to a recent Adobe survey, 86 percent of creators incorporate AI into their daily routines. Additionally, the average length of prompts used in Firefly doubled over the past year, indicating that users are developing more sophisticated interactions with the technology.

With this unlimited capability, artists and designers can experiment with variations, styles and approaches across different models to refine concepts efficiently. The feature is accessible through the web platform at firefly.adobe.com, Firefly Boards for collaborative ideation and the Firefly mobile application on both iOS and Android devices.

Adobe emphasizes the platform’s tools for transforming generated content into polished projects. Users can organize inspirations and assets in Firefly Boards to collaborate and iterate. The browser-based video editor enables sequence assembly for storytelling, while options for adding sound effects or licensed music tracks enhance productions. Images can be modified using simple text descriptions via the Prompt to Edit feature, allowing quick adjustments like object addition or background changes.

Firefly connects seamlessly with Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications, such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro, enabling users to refine AI-generated elements with professional precision without disrupting their process. This integration helps transition from initial concepts to production-ready work.

To inspire usage, Adobe suggests seasonal projects tied to Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year. For Valentine’s, creators can use Firefly Boards presets to generate themed editorials in styles like Sweet Treats or Tarot and Lipstick. Ideas include designing nostalgic elementary school-style cards with playful puns using Nano Banana Pro, transforming photos of friends into claymation characters with hearts and cozy vibes, or crafting romance movie posters complete with original titles and taglines.

For Lunar New Year, the platform supports converting photos into contemporary paper-cut designs featuring symmetric motifs, blossoms and high-contrast shapes while preserving original compositions. These examples highlight Firefly’s versatility for personal and experimental creations.

Subscribers to Firefly Pro, Premium or credit-based plans with 4,000, 7,000 or 50,000 credits can access unlimited generations up to 2K resolution by signing up before March 16. The offer covers all mentioned AI models, encouraging creators to explore without limits during this promotional period.
