This initiative provides university students aged 18 and older in the US, Canada, the EU27, Australia, and the UK, with enhanced access to advanced tools crucial for skill development and creative expression. The program offers three months of complimentary access to ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents, and ElevenAPI, in addition to a free year of ElevenReader Ultra, an advanced text-to-speech application.

Hackathons and other events allow students to use these resources for free during competitions, which often reflect impressive innovations. Recently, a student team from the University of Pennsylvania developed a healthcare referrals switchboard, directing users to providers based on their particular contexts for appointment booking. Additionally, at a hackathon in Warsaw, participants created a “third pair of ears” that analyzes real-time radio communications between pilots to identify potential safety concerns. Another innovator, Bhavya Patel, designed a voice agent to detect and notify social media users about misleading or emotionally manipulative content they encounter.
These tools are not only fostering creativity but also enhancing the learning experience for students with diverse needs. For instance, during an ElevenHacks event, one participant developed a voice AI study partner that allows users to interact with textbook materials by uploading pages or PDFs and engaging in discussions to gain feedback. By facilitating auditory engagement, voice technology can significantly benefit students with dyslexia, visual impairments, and various learning preferences, offering an alternative to traditional reading methods.
The impact of ElevenLabs is evident in educational settings worldwide, thanks in large part to the Impact Program x Professors initiative. Over 350 educators from nearly 50 different countries have joined this initiative, extending free access to ElevenLabs tools to more than 1,500 students. This collaboration spans a diverse array of subjects, from film production to constitutional law, with educators using voice technology to create more engaging, multimodal learning experiences.
