ElevenMusic launches Music v2.5 with lossless downloads and enhanced audio experience

ElevenMusic has unveiled Music v2.5, marking a significant upgrade in its music generation capabilities. This enhanced version comes with the promise of lossless downloads, available across all subscription tiers, including the free plan. Musicians can now enjoy more sophisticated and natural-sounding instrumentals, contributing to a richer audio experience.

This model stands out for its complexity, featuring layered tracks that resonate with depth. In blind tests involving 47,885 evaluations, users overwhelmingly preferred the outcomes produced by v2.5, especially in genres heavily defined by vocals and acoustic elements such as R&B, soul, hip hop, rock, metal, orchestral, and cinematic music. Although Music v2.5 is now the default option within ElevenMusic, users who are still fond of the previous version can rest assured, as it remains accessible.

Ownership of tracks generated through ElevenMusic means that users retain rights over their creations. Free-tier users receive five lossless downloads each day, while Pro users enjoy a monthly allocation of 400 lossless downloads. Importantly, tracks can be used commercially as long as ElevenMusic is credited. The rights and permissions associated with a track remain intact even if a user decides to downgrade their subscription in the future. Any amendments to the terms will only apply to new creations, safeguarding the ownership of previously made tracks.

However, users should be aware that they cannot export songs that use elements from other artists’ works. ElevenMusic has been crafted with adherence to the interests of artists, labels, and publishers, ensuring a protective framework for both creators and their original content.

Now live within the ElevenCreative environment and the ElevenLabs API, Music v2.5 allows users to score their videos, use music nodes in workflows, and continually adjust tracks to align with their unique products. To experience the new Music v2.5, it’s available now at ElevenMusic.

Meanwhile, it’s noteworthy that ElevenLabs has recently entered a multi-year strategic partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG), focusing on licensing and product innovation, an initiative separate from the launch of Music v2.5.
